As I said in my previous post, I have been pretty behind in orders, and this is partly because the companies I order my inventory from are also behind.
For a while now, I've been wanting to update my St.Benedict rosary, but everyone was out of stock on the crucifix I wanted, so I settled with a plain wooden crucifix. This is how it looked before.
Thanks to a customer's request for a matching crucifix for her St.Benedict's rosary, I found a pretty olive-wood crucifix with the St.Benedict medal.
The center is a wooden "scroll" with the St.Benedict prayer on it, but if you're not crazy about having something so big, you do also have this choice for a center:
It is small, just to warn you. But if small and nothing clunky is what you're looking for, then this is what you may want! It's about the size of a dime.
I do not yet have this new St.Benedict rosary in the store, because two customers who ordered weeks ago have been very patiently waiting for my wooden crucifixes to arrive. (I gave them the option for a regular crucifix so that they would get their rosaries faster, but they opted to wait.) I decided to give them the St.Benedict crucifixes to them, since they were so patient. Hopefully they will be happy with the surprise!
Hopefully, I'll have the new St.Benedict rosary out again with this matching crucifix on. However, I'm at the mercy of waiting on others too.
Next post, my new St.Francis rosary!
"Poor men and women who are sinners, I, a greater sinner than you, wish to give you this rose, a crimson one, because the precious blood of our Lord has fallen upon it....may it save you from the danger that you are in. Every day unbelievers and un-repentant sinners cry, "Let us crown ourselves with roses" (Wis. 2:8). But our cry should be, "Let us crown ourselves with the roses of the holy Rosary." -St.Louis de Montfort
